Session Sour - ABV 4.7%
Berliner weisse, a tart, spritzy German wheat beer, was a favorite of Napoleon Bonaparte who described it as the “Champagne of the North.” Traditionally served “mit schuss” (with syrup), to provide enough sweetness to balance the sourness of the beer, Napoleon preferred to drink his “naked” (without syrup, though who is to say what he was or was not wearing after having a few…). Ask your bartender about our rotating selection of house-made syrups, or feel free to enjoy Naked Napoleon as is!
