Brewed in celebration of our grand opening, 1768 is an American interpretation of a Belgian-style Bière de Champagne. This spritzy, effervescent beer features notes of apple, pear, white grape, and bubblegum from the Belgian yeast, complimented by a pleasant citrus aroma from the dry hop addition of Amarillo and Cryo Citra hops.
My Apologies, You’re Welcome
Intense, juicy hop flavor and aroma combine with soft bitterness and a smooth, silky mouthfeel in our hazy, double dry hopped IPA. An explosion of orange, lemon, and tropical fruit aromas from an absurd dose of Mandarina Bavaria, Cryo Citra, and Mosaic hops will leave any hop head smiling. There’s nothing subtle about this one!
Our take on the iconic American pale ale style features strong aromas of grapefruit, pine, and rose from the addition of two of the most classic American hop varieties, Cascade and Centennial. Easy drinking and exceptionally balanced, our pale ale finishes dry, with just enough hop bitterness to leave you craving another sip.
Broken Tarted – Session Sour w/ Raspberry and Hibiscus
Our session sour, brewed with juicy raspberries and hibiscus! Unbelievably refreshing, this tart, inviting wheat ale features a beautiful, intense pink hue and the perfect balance between sweet and sour.
Trit Happens w/ Enderly Coffee – Triticale Porter w/ Coffee
Our Trit Happens Porter, bumped up a notch by the addition of Ethiopian coffee roasted by our neighbors at Enderly Coffee Co. This beer features both local malt and locally roasted coffee, truly encapsulating the collaborative ethos of Town Brewing!
Trit Happens – Triticale Porter
The aroma and flavor of bittersweet chocolate and espresso dominate this medium-bodied porter. Brewed with local triticale malt from our friends at Epiphany Craft Malt in Durham North Carolina for a smooth, silky mouthfeel, this porter is the perfect way to welcome in fall.
Escape Plan – American IPA
Bursting with citrus and tropical hop aromas, this double dry-hopped IPA features a
healthy dose of Mosaic, Citra, Amarillo, and Centennial hops. Notes of grapefruit,
pineapple, geraniums, and pine dominate the aroma and flavor, and a pleasant, subtle
hop bitterness lingers on the palate creating a crisp, refreshing finish.
Friend Request – Belgian Table Beer
Fruity notes of pear, apple, and banana from the Belgian yeast dominate the aroma of this sessionable, light ale. Chamomile, grapefruit and lemon peel, and grains of paradise lend a slight floral and citrus character. Brewed with pilsner malt, wheat, spelt, rye, and oats, the light malt backbone is balanced by the addition of French Aramis hops.
Emotional Support Badger – ESB
ABV 5.7% (2018 NC Brewers Cup Gold Medal British Bitter)
English malt lends notes of toasted bread, caramel, and just a hint of roast to this flavorful amber ale. The malt character is balanced by English Challenger hops which add a slight earthy aroma, and Cascade hops for just a hint of American bravado.
Lil’ English On It – Golden Ale
This light-bodied, easy drinking golden ale features a soft, bready malt character. The
addition of a blend of English Progress hops and Cascade hops from the U.S. imparts just enough bitterness to give the beer exceptional balance, making it the perfect crowd pleaser for any occasion.
Naked Napoleon – Session Sour
Berliner weisse, a tart, spritzy German wheat beer, was a favorite of Napoleon Bonaparte who described it as the “Champagne of the North.” Traditionally served “mit schuss” (with syrup), to provide enough sweetness to balance the sourness of the beer, Napoleon
preferred to drink his “naked” (without syrup, though who is to say what he was or was not wearing after having a few…). Ask your bartender about our rotating selection of house-made syrups, or feel free to enjoy Naked Napoleon as is!
